Shakyamuni Buddha Thangka in Buddhist Traditional Karma Gadri Style

This handpainted Buddhist thangka of Shakyamuni Buddha is done using acrylic colors in the traditional Karma Gadri style. Buddha sits on a moon disc lotus seat on the open land with trees.  The colors in this thangka are well-coordinated, making it a soothing experience to view. He is seated with legs crossed where the Dharma wheel is marked on each foot. His right hand is in the earth, touching mudra, and his left hand is holding a begging bowl wearing a monk's robe. His black hair is uptight in a bun with a transparent halo behind his calm face.  This hand-painted Buddha thangka might be just what you're looking for to take with you.

Shakyamuni Buddha, often known as "the Buddha," is the historical Buddha and the founder of Buddhist doctrine. Each "Kalpa" (Buddhist eon) is thought to have its own Buddha, whose teachings disappear when the next Buddha comes. He is believed to have lived about 420 BC and spent most of his time spreading Dharma teachings.
