Vajrasattva Thangka- Tibetan Yab Yum Art
Vajrasattva Yab Yum Thangka is beautifully painted by our traditionally trained Karma Gadri artists. The Thangka is attractive, peaceful, and tranquil, with the purpose of interpreting Dorje Sempa's sense of tranquility. The best artistic aspect of this thangka is indeed the color composition. The white face of Dorje Sempa and Consort is featured by the orange halo, which is encircled by elegantly patterned gold.

Note: Dorje Sempa Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio located at Boudha Stupa.
Dorje Sempa holds a bell in his left hand and a Vajra in his right hand. The bell represents wisdom, while the vajra represents compassion. He sits serenely on a moon disc atop a lotus seat, his legs crossed, symbolizing that he remained in this impure cycle of samsara for the sake of sentient beings while remaining unblemished by its flaws. Dorje Sempais a purification-focused meditational Bodhisattva deity who is worshipped by Vajrayana Buddhists of all sects. According to the scriptures, repenting to Dorje Sempa and singing his hundred-syllable mantra can cleanse one of all sins and obscurations. One of the four preparators of ngondro, a preparatory but necessary practice in Vajrayana Buddhism, is the Dorje Sempa cleansing ceremony.

As requested for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to Monasteries/Rinpoches from nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $50 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration service.
