Introduction To Buddha Amitabha :
Buddha Amitabha seated in a Vajra pose, clad in monk's robes, he is carrying a bowl containing the nectar of immortality with his hands folded and facing up in meditation mudra (samadhi).
Amitabha means infinite light and he is also known as “Amitayus” or Buddha of the infinite life. Amitabha is the most ancient of the Vajrayana tradition's Five Dhyani Buddhas and is regarded as the crimson Buddha of the west
Amitabha Buddha is commonly represented as Shakyamuni Buddha, although he is generally seated in meditation mudra, whereas ground touching mudra is only designated for a seated Shakyamuni Buddha. Amitabha is a red-colored deity in Tibetan Buddhism; whereas red represents the color of love, compassion, and emotional energy. His distinctive insignia is the lotus, and he is believed to shield beings from bad attachment impulses. As a result, he is connected with the lotus: gentleness, openness, and purity.
