Shakyamuni Buddha was an educator upon whose lessons the establishments for Wholesome Dharma were shaped. He is respected as the Supreme Buddha and is the primary edified person to be idolized walking on Two Legs.
The community of Buddhist monks and nuns (the Sangha) that followed The Buddha’s footsteps, helped pass on the Dharma teachings after he died and that’s why so many centuries later, we are still inspired by his teachings.
