Vajrayogini is a female deity who, while occasionally represented simply as Vajrayogini, appears in nearly two-thirds of the rituals in a collection of her sadhanas in a distinct form. She is a meditation deity or the yab-yum consort of one. Her practice includes techniques for averting ordinary death, intermediate state (bardo), reincarnation (by changing them into spiritual roads), and transforming all banal everyday events into higher spiritual paths.

Citipati, a Tibetan Buddhist monk who practices esoteric Buddhism, is a Tibetan Buddhist monk. The Sakya school was the first to introduce the dancing skeleton couple into their practice, followed by the Gelug.
