In this handmade thangka Buddhist art, Milarepa Buddha who is the greatest yogi of Tibet, Tibet's most renowned and accomplished Buddhist master, is shown here. He is pictured seated on animal skins in mountain caves, meditating between the cooking pot and a lovely deer. In a listening gesture, his right hand is lifted to his right ear while his left-hand holds a skull cup. The cave is surrounded by beautiful green trees and clouds, which gives the practitioner a pleasant vibe.

Milarepa is respected for his perseverance and personal development, and his fascinating biography depicts the human path from confusion to clarity. Early in his youth, he was taught the principles of both privilege and repression. Milarepa's lyrical teachings have captivated the hearts of his followers and fans for almost a thousand years. Since his tremendous compassion prompted Bodhicitta and pushed him to reach Buddhahood to benefit all sentient beings, his life embodies the ideal Bodhisattva.
