Tibetan Goddess Green Tara Thangka Print, Bodhisattva
The Tibetan Thangka print of the Green Tara Goddess portrays the embodiment of compassion and wisdom. As a fully-realized female buddha, meditating on her helps us awaken our buddha-nature. Her right foot is slightly extended, indicating that she is ready to benefit beings. She raised her right hand on her right knee in a kind gesture, and her left hand held the stem of a flowering lotus flower. She wears silks and gems representing the six transcendent perfections (paramitas) and complete enlightenment.
