Green Tara Thangka, Traditional Tibetan Stone-Colored Mother Tara Thangka

Green Tara is the female counterpart of Avalokiteshvara and is believed to be the Nepali princess, whereas the White Tara is believed to be a Chinese princess. The Tibetan tradition maintains that Mother Tara incarnates in every pious woman. Some consider her as the original Tara and the female consort of Amoghasiddhi, one of the Dhyani Buddhas.

The color palette is carefully designed to create a soothing effect for the practitioner while visualizing Tara and maintaining harmony. At Enlightenment, we follow Buddhist text and iconography detail to make sure it presents all the right attributes for your meditation practice.
This inspiring Buddhist art will be a great gift for a practitioner like you!
