Traditional Hand Crafted Jetsun Milarepa Sculpture
We have exquisitely hand carved the sculpture of Jetsun Milarepa in an oxidized copper body in a traditional ancient Vajrayana style. We are the Kathmandu Valley artist whose artisan has passed through generations, reflecting Buddhism. In this Tibetan statue, we have portrayed him on the top of the cushion seat above an animal skin, holding a bowl in his left hand while his right hand seems to raise nearby his ear. You can use this statue in Buddhist rituals and regular meditational or yoga activities. Jetsun Milarepa was a prominent Tibetan yogi, poet, and teacher who flourished in the 11th and 12th centuries. The master's clothing with basic ornaments embellishment alludes to his cave life. The throne is covered with deer hide and carved with Ashtamangala (eight auspicious symbols).
