Kagyu Mahakala Buddha Thangka Print, Buddhist Protector

Kagyu Mahakala Buddha is wrathful, black-cloaked, emerging from the clouds in the thangka print. He has brown hair that runs upward, three wide eyes, a beard, massive eyebrows, and a beard. He wields a curved flaying knife with a vajra (spiritual instrument) handle high over his head, printed with six hands. A blood-filled skull cup is held in his left hand. He had a crown of five white skulls on his head, earrings, bracelets, and a garland of freshly chopped heads wrapped around his waist. His rage is comparable to a father defending a child from harm. He looks at the forms he is attempting to destroy because he is afraid of himself.

DRAWN AS MENTIONED IN THE MEDITATION MANUAL

THIS IS A HIGH-QUALITY THANGKA PRINT AND CAN BE PRINTED IN YOUR PREFERRED SIZE.

To overcome the iron grip of our fixation with what we deemed substantial, genuine, meaningful, self or soul, we sometimes need the strength of immense compassion. The Archetype emblem is, in reality, a representation of the model power that comes from inside oneself and is confronted with overcoming that self-image. Even though one may see the self-image as a fictitious, implausible fabrication, one is primordially opposed to giving up the belief that it exists to sustain us. So, if one decides to wage war against one's inner self and negative attitudes in opening up the Buddha-nature, which is the non-ego, Mahakala, the archetype and defender, maybe a valuable partner, akin to a scary ally.
