Traditional Milarepa Buddha Thangka Print
Milarepa Buddha, Tibet's greatest yogi, and most renowned and accomplished Buddhist guru is shown in this handcrafted thangka print. He's portrayed meditating between the cooking pot and a gorgeous deer seated on animal hides in mountain caves. His right hand is raised to his right ear in a listening motion, while his left hand holds a skull cup. The cave is surrounded by vibrant green trees and clouds, which provide a practitioner with a pleasant atmosphere.

Milarepa is respected for his perseverance and personal development, and his fascinating biography depicts the human path from confusion to clarity. Early in his youth, he was taught the principles of both privilege and repression. Milarepa's lyrical teachings have captivated the hearts of his followers and fans for almost a thousand years. Since his tremendous compassion prompted Bodhicitta and pushed him to reach Buddhahood to benefit all sentient beings, his life embodies the ideal Bodhisattva.

CONSECRATION OF THANGKA
As requested for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to Monasteries/Rinpoches from nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $20 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration services.
