We have painted this stunning Bodhisattva thangka featuring  Manjushree, Chenrezig, and Vajrapani painted in 24K gold in a hand made cotton canvas. Just above the offerings, Manjushree is seated on a moon disc on a multicolored lotus. Chenrezig and Vajrapani are placed at the top and bottom of the thangka, respectively, with him in the middle. He is a representation of prajna wisdom, which is unrestricted by information or preconceptions.

Manjushri, also known as the Bodhisattva of Great Wisdom, is one of Mahayana Buddhism's most prominent figures. In Esoteric Buddhism, he is known as the "Meditational Deity. He is one of the famous Bodhisattva who has been respected greatly in Chinese, Esoteric, and Tibetan Buddhism. In Sanskrit Manjushri is termed as ‘Prajna’ meaning ‘gentle glory’, ‘He Who is Noble and Gentle’, ‘Soft glory’, and ‘Wondrous Auspiciousness’. Practitioners in China call him Wen-shu Shih- Li, in Japan Monju, and in Tibet as Jam-dpal.

We are a team of traditionally trained Karma Gadri artists from Boudha Stupa. Our lineage comes from Venerable Master Jamyang Phunshok. Who is from Kham, Eastern Tibet.

CONSECRATION OF THANGKA
As requested for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to Monasteries/Rinpoches from nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $50 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration service.
