21 Tara Print
About Our Print :
According to the Buddha Samantabhadra's chant "Twenty-One Praises of Tara," Tara possesses 21 essential emanations.
Each form of the mother of all Buddhas is a different hue and fulfills a different purpose. However, several kinds and patterns of tangka paintings reflect Tara's 21 appearances depending on separate lineages and practices, with forms, colors, ritual materials, and even names or purposes varying.
Green is considered the principal color of Tara since her green manifestation is always shown in the middle of this thangka.
White signifies the appeasing function, which is used to overcome disease and problems in life and during Dharma practice.
Yellow symbolizes the action of growing beneficial traits in order to live a long and quiet life, enjoyment, and success in practice.
Red is a sign of power and is associated with the capacity to overcome external forces that cannot be dealt with through the first two functions. Black or blue signifies the violent and wrathful functions and tactics used to achieve enlightened goals that cannot be achieved by other means.
How does Thangka benefit us?
It goes without saying that every detail of a painting has a symbolic meaning. Regardless of your religious affiliation, a thangka can help you on your path to enlightenment, whether you practice Buddhism or have other religious convictions. Thangkas are paintings that depict deities with various iconographic elements and symbolism that encourage meditation on the teachings of the god they depict. Any thangka is intended to aid in the removal of the film of ignorance, which is a significant barrier to the road to enlightenment.
