21 Taras represent Tara, the "Mother of Liberation," in all her enlightened manifestations. Taras are depicted with unique names, colors, and attributes that represent various aspects of protection, compassion, and wisdom. Since the Buddha taught us 21 methods to help us achieve enlightenment, the number 21 has great significance in Tibetan Buddhism. Through the practice of these techniques, we can release the 21 inner knots within our bodies, eventually reaching the Dharmakaya state, the ultimate realization of Buddhahood.

As requested for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to Monasteries/Rinpoches from nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $50 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration services.
