Traditional Hand-Painted 9 Inch Manjushri Thangka | The Symbol of Clarity and Enlightenment
Our 9-inch Manjushri Thangka is a powerful spiritual artifact, hand-painted on fine cotton canvas using natural stone colors and 24K gold. Created in the elegant Karma Gadri style, it features delicate brushwork, a flowing composition, and an open landscape that invites meditation and clarity. The careful use of gold highlights key elements of Manjushri’s enlightened presence, adding radiance and sacred depth to the artwork.
The Bodhisattva of Transcendent Wisdom, Manjushri, is depicted as being seated on a moon disc above the lotus seat, which is represented by purity and wisdom. He raises a flaming sword of wisdom, cutting through ignorance and illusion, and holds the stem of a lotus flower that supports the sacred text of Prajna Paramita. He wears a five-jeweled crown, golden ornaments, and flowing silken robes, topped with a three-tier topknot symbolizing the highest realization of truth. The background features serene greenery that reflects his clarity and unshakable presence. This sacred expression of the wisdom mind is ideal for practitioners, collectors, and those seeking to deepen their understanding of the wisdom mind.
