The Amitayus Long Life Practice Sculpture was machine-made from pure oxidized copper, and the deity's face was gilded with real 24-karat gold. The deity is seen crossing his legs while sitting on a moon-shaped lotus seat and holding a vase of amrita over his lap. Amitayus, which translates to "boundless life," is also used to refer to the Buddha of immeasurable light and life. We have artistically placed a beautiful nimbus behind the deity. Amitabha was a monarch, according to traditions, once upon a time. He gave up his kingdom to become a Dharmakara Bodhisattva monk. He is linked to the third skandha, the skandha of perception. The cure to desire is Tantric meditation on Amitabha. How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a
glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can
smudge the face, leaving scratches.
