Butadamara Vajrapani Thangka
Butadamara Vajrapani is a powerful figure in Tibetan Buddhism. He is revered as a fierce guardian who subdues negative forces, conquers inner obstacles, and protects practitioners on their spiritual journey.
His name, "Butadamara," means "Subduer of Demonic Beings," highlighting his role in overcoming obstacles to enlightenment. This thangka depicts him with a fierce expression, radiating spiritual energy, and a dynamic posture, symbolizing readiness to act against harmful influences. He wields a vajra (thunderbolt) in his right hand, symbolizing indestructible power, and holds a lasso in his left hand to bind negative forces. Surrounding flames of wisdom burn away ignorance and delusions. His muscular form and adorned crown symbolize his strength and mastery over worldly and spiritual challenges.

As requested for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to Monasteries/Rinpoches from nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $50 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration services.
