Elegant Compassionate Deity Green Tara Painting | A Divine Deity of Compassion | ZEN LHASA HUES
We are excited to introduce our compassionate deity, the Green Tara Thangka! This beautiful hand-painted representation features the lovely natural colors of Lhasa stone, complemented by stunning 24K gold. Crafted with love at the Enlightenment Studio, it beautifully showcases traditional Tibetan craftsmanship and deep spiritual symbolism. The vibrant tones of the Lhasa stone and the shimmering 24K gold highlight the divine form of Green Tara perfectly. Known as the Bodhisattva of Compassion, Green Tara is lovingly believed to respond quickly to prayers as a protector and healer.
Painted in the Karma Gadri style, this thangka reflects a revered Tibetan tradition characterized by intricate details, delicate brushwork, and a harmonious color palette. Originating from the Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism, Karma Gadri captures graceful and serene depictions of deities, with soft lines conveying gentleness and strength. This style brings Green Tara's compassionate energy to life, evoking a deep connection between the viewer and the divine.
Green Tara, known as the Bodhisattva of Compassion, is a protector and a healer, always ready to offer assistance to those in need. Legend states she emerged from a tear of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion, after he wept for sentient beings' suffering. The compassionate act of Tara’s birth symbolizes her commitment to helping all beings transcend suffering. Her green color signifies her vibrant energy and swift action, while her mantra, "Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha," is believed to bring protection and healing.
In this thangka, Green Tara is depicted seated on the left side, exuding tranquility and readiness to act. Her royal posture indicates her preparedness to engage in action at any moment. She wears a crown adorned with five jewels, which symbolizes her divine wisdom and spiritual authority. In her hand, she delicately holds a blue utpala flower between her thumb and ring finger. The intricate Nagkanya (snake maiden) in the lower section of the thangka represents protection and healing, reinforcing the divine energy that Tara offers. This Green Tara Thangka serves as a spiritual talisman, bringing peace, security, and blessings. Ideal for enhancing meditation spaces, inviting compassion, or adding a unique, sacred piece to your collection, this hand-painted thangka is essential.
