About Our Statue :
This Crown Shakyamuni Buddha Sculpture is a powerful depiction of the Enlightened One, portraying the grace and wisdom of the Buddha in his crowned form. This picture of Shakyamuni is traditionally adored in Tibetan Buddhism and represents spiritual monarchy as well as ultimate awakening. The Buddha sits in peaceable meditation atop a finely detailed lotus pedestal, his right hand reaching toward the earth in the Bhumisparsha mudra, marking his enlightenment beneath the Bodhi tree.
This sculpture, handcrafted with a copper body and beautifully gold-plated, represents both exceptional artisanal quality and profound spiritual regard. Its rich details, including the delicate crown, tranquil expression, and finely carved robes, create a sacred presence that is excellent for personal altars, meditation rooms, or spiritual décor. It stands 22.5 cm tall and weighs 1.39 kg, possessing both visual and symbolic weight, making it an ideal gift for Tibetan Buddhist art practitioners or collectors. This item not only enriches your space, but it also encourages attention, clarity, and inner calm in your everyday practice.
Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :
Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king following the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. At about 29, he learned of the immense suffering of others. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
