About Our Ritual Item :
Radiating a resplendent golden radiance and embodying spiritual potency, this gold-plated traditional Tibetan stupa transcends mere ornamentation to serve as a sacred emblem of enlightenment and divine presence. Standing at an impressive height of 50 centimeters and weighing 8.60 kilograms, this handcrafted artifact is constructed from copper and elaborately embellished with gold plating, artificial turquoise, and coral stones. Every element—from its tiered base to the celestial finial—is meticulously crafted by ancient Tibetan principles, rendering it a significant centerpiece for any spiritual or ceremonial setting.
In Tibetan Buddhism, the stupa (or chorten) symbolizes the enlightened mind of the Buddha and the path to liberation. Its architectural features reflect the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and space—and the spiritual stages toward awakening. Conventionally used to enclose sacred relics and scriptures, stupas are also regarded as purveyors of merit, instruments for karma purification, and protective symbols for all devotees. The crescent moon, sun, and flame atop the structure denote the integration of wisdom and compassion, guiding practitioners toward inner tranquility and clarity.
This gold-plated traditional Tibetan stupa is ideally suited for use in home altars, monastery temples, meditation chambers, or as a sacred offering. Whether employed during daily rituals or positioned as a permanent blessing within one's spiritual environment, it functions as a potent instrument for fostering peace, mindfulness, and elevated consciousness. For dedicated practitioners, collectors, or spiritual leaders, this stupa represents both a devotional object and a conduit to profound understanding.
Introduction To Stupa :
Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
