Emanating divine beauty and sacred energy, this Tibetan Buddhist chorten radiates divine beauty and sacred energy, functioning as a powerful spiritual sanctuary. It is handcrafted from copper and features extensive gold plating to honor traditional Himalayan design. With a height of 33 cm and a weight of 1.49 kg, it is embellished with artificial turquoise and coral stones, symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. The layered base, intricate lotus-petal engravings, and bejeweled spire exemplify its sophisticated craftsmanship and profound ritual significance.
The chorten, also known as a Tibetan stupa, is a sacred edifice embodying the enlightened mind of the Buddha and the pathway to spiritual realization. Each architectural tier corresponds to one of the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and space—and signifies the progressive stages of enlightenment. These revered monuments are believed to generate blessings, ward off negative energies, and accrue considerable spiritual merit for all who venerate them.
It is perfect for personal altars, puja spaces, or as a spiritual gift for dedicated practitioners. Whether used for meditation, prayer offerings, or to sanctify a home with sacred energy, it serves as a timeless symbol of Buddhist wisdom and devotion. It makes a meaningful addition for collectors, temple caretakers, or anyone looking to enrich their spiritual surroundings.
Introduction To Stupa :
Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
