About Our Statue :
Our statue is a Buddha Maitreya Statue that has been skillfully hand-carved. The body is crafted of oxidized copper that has been painted in acrylic and coated with gold. The throne has the most elaborate and complex design.
Introduction To Maitreya Buddha :
When the teachings of Gautama Buddha have completely devolved, Maitreya, the future Buddha who is currently a bodhisattva living in Tushita heaven, will come to earth to preach the dharma (or "law") once more. The oldest Bodhisattva around whom a cult formed is Maitreya, who is recorded in texts dating to the 3rd century CE. He was acknowledged by all branches of Buddhism, and the Theravada tradition today typically honors him as the lone bodhisattva.

How do take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
