Seven-Eyes White Tara Thangka | Hand-Painted Tibetan Artwork | Karma Gadri Artistry

Description

Hand-Painted Seven-Eyes White Tara Thangka | Healing & Longevity Bodhisattva for Altar or Meditation

This beautiful Seven-Eyed White Tara, also known as Sita Tara, is a revered deity in Tibetan Buddhism. Born from Avalokiteshvara's tears, she represents inner stillness, long life, and serene compassion. She is invoked for healing, longevity, and protection from life-threatening obstacles. The thangka is painted in the traditional Karma Gadri style, which is renowned for its open composition, gentle natural tones, and elegant refinement. It was made with genuine 24K gold and rich acrylic colors. Every detail—from the sacred symbols to the surrounding elements—has been thoughtfully rendered by skilled artists in our studio, preserving both authenticity and spiritual depth.

She is depicted seated in vajra posture upon a lotus seat placed above a moon disc, both of which symbolize spiritual purity and the awakened mind. Her right hand is extended in the Varada Mudra, signifying the granting of compassion and blessings. Her left hand, held gracefully near her heart in the Abhaya Mudra, holds a fully bloomed pundarika (white lotus), representing purity and the unfolding of spiritual wisdom. Her seven eyes symbolize her all-seeing awareness, allowing her to perceive and respond to suffering in all realms. She is adorned with elegant robes, flowing silk scarves, and a five-jeweled crown, each highlighted with genuine 24K gold detailing, underscoring her enlightened nature and protective presence.
