About Our Statue :
Our Shakyamuni Buddha Handmade Statue presents dimensions of 15.5cm in height and 10.5cm in width, weighing 0.71kg. Crafted from oxidized copper, enhancing both aesthetic depth and symbolic resonance. The oxidation process references the Buddha's transcendence of worldly impermanence while providing a protective surface layer. The proportions adhere to classical iconometric principles, particularly in the earth-touching mudra posture that signifies the historical Buddha's moment of enlightenment. An exemplary devotional object that balances sculptural integrity with doctrinal accuracy for serious practitioners.
Placing a Shakyamuni Buddha statue in your home or meditation space invites the energy of wisdom, inner peace, and spiritual awakening. As the historical Buddha and founder of Buddhism, Shakyamuni symbolizes the potential for enlightenment within all beings. His presence serves as a daily reminder to practice mindfulness, compassion, and right action, creating a serene and harmonious atmosphere. The statue radiates calm and clarity, helping reduce stress and encouraging deeper meditation and self-reflection. It also fosters a protective and peaceful energy in your environment, making it ideal for altars, study areas, or any space where focus and tranquility are valued. Beyond its spiritual significance, a Shakyamuni Buddha statue also brings a classic elegance and sacred presence to your surroundings.
Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :
Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king following the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
