About Our Statue:
Introducing the Tibetan Dakini Vajrayogini Statue, a magnificent depiction of the Queen of the Dakinis, who is regarded in Tibetan Buddhism as the embodiment of change, knowledge, and freedom. Standing 56.5 cm tall, 38 cm wide, and weighing 8.30 kg, this strong statue is made of copper and brightly colored with acrylic paints, portraying Vajrayogini's fiery force and spiritual depth.
Vajrayogini is represented in red color with a five-skull crown, representing the transformation of the five mental poisons (ignorance, attachment, wrath, pride, and jealousy) into the five wisdoms. With her three eyes, she looks beyond the past, present, and future, symbolizing an enlightened being's all-knowingness. In her right hand, she wields a curved flaying knife (kartika), which cuts through ego and illusion, while her left arm carries a skull cup filled with blood, symbolizing the transformation of desire and ignorance into enlightened nectar.
Her bare appearance reflects her lack of connection, while the garland of severed heads represents her brave encounter with impermanence. The flame halo around her signifies her blazing wisdom energy, and she stands atop two figures, which signify the subjection of ego and dualistic thinking.
This statue perfectly captures Vajrayogini's role in tantric practices, assisting practitioners in transcending ego, duality, and attachments to achieve higher levels of awareness. Display it as a strong spiritual centerpiece, or use it as an altarpiece for meditation and prayer.
Introduction To Vajrayogini:
Vajrayogin is a generic female yidam. While she is occasionally depicted simply as Vajrayogin, she is shown in a different form in almost two-thirds of her sadhanas. Vajravarahi and Krodikali are some of her other manifestations. Vajrayogini is a Vajrayana Buddhist meditation deity and a dakini.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
