About Our Statue
This wonderfully made Vajrasattva bodhisattva statue is 32 cm tall and 22.5 cm wide, and weighs 3.10 kg. It's made of copper and gold-plated, with exquisite adornments of imitation coral and turquoise stones. The statue sits on a beautifully sculpted lotus pedestal, which enhances its spiritual and religious presence. This piece's size and materials make it suitable for prominent altars or meditation spaces, acting as both a spiritual and artistic focal point.
Vajrasattva is seen in the classic meditation stance, holding a vajra in his right hand to symbolize the indestructibility of enlightenment, and a bell in his left hand to signify knowledge and the feminine spirit. The tranquil yet strong expression on his face represents the merging of compassion and wisdom. His robes are beautifully decorated with traditional Tibetan designs, and his crown and ornaments are adorned with artificial stones, representing his high position in Vajrayana Buddhism.
Vajrasattva, the embodiment of purity and spiritual development, is called in rituals to remove negative karma and cleanse the mind. This monument serves as a powerful reminder of the path to enlightenment and the ability of meditation to overcome difficulties.
Introduction To Vajrasattva :
In Tibetan Buddhism, Vajrasattva is revered as a figure of purity. He is frequently seen clutching a bell and a vajra, or thunderbolt, signifying the confluence of wisdom and compassion required for enlightenment. His mantra is often repeated as part of individual and group purification rituals, highlighting his role in helping followers maintain spiritual integrity and cleanliness.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
