White Tara Print
About Our Print :
Tara is a meditation god revered by Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhists in order to cultivate particular inner traits and learn exterior, inner, and hidden teachings such as karu (compassion), mett (loving-kindness), and shunyata (emptiness). Because bodhisattvas are sometimes used as metaphors for Buddhist qualities, Tr may be better regarded as diverse manifestations of the same quality.
Some Buddhist schools recognize twenty-one Taras. The most important text on Tara in Tibetan Buddhism is a practice manual called Praises to the Twenty-One Taras. Another important document is the Tantra, which serves as the source for all of Tara's functions as the Mother of All Tathagatas.
How does Thangka benefit us?
It goes without saying that every detail of a painting has a symbolic meaning. Regardless of your religious affiliation, a thangka can help you on your path to enlightenment, whether you practice Buddhism or have other religious convictions. Thangkas are paintings that depict deities with various iconographic elements and symbolism that encourage meditation on the teachings of the god they depict. Any thangka is intended to aid in the removal of the film of ignorance, which is a significant barrier to the road to enlightenment.
