108 Vajrasattva Thangka, Tibetan Thangka Print
Original Size of Thangka ( 20 x 30 inches )
The special thangka of 108 Vajrasattva. This thangka was done on the special request of Penor Rinpoche lay disciple Mr. Dorje Thubrig. Originally this thangka was done on a full multi-color version. However, this one is done in black and gold, Nakthang style.
Vajrasattva is depicted with a bell in his left hand at the level of his hip and a Vajra in his right hand at his chest. The bell symbolizes wisdom and the vajra, compassion. He sits serenely with legs crossed upon a moon disc atop a lotus seat. The lotus seat symbolizes that he remained in this impure cycle of samsara for the benefit of sentient beings, and yet, remained unstained by its faults.
We follow the Buddhist text and iconography detail to make sure it presents all the right attributes for your meditation practice.
