  • Green tara Thangka

Green Tara Thangka, Tibetan Tara, Quality Canvas Print

Green Tara Thangka Painting, Tibetan Buddhist Art Original Size of Thangka ( 50 x 110 inches )  A large size beautiful Green Tara thangka painting. In a lavish open background, we have tried to show Mother Tara in the grandeur form. The vast background with Mother Tara at the center makes the painting enormously beautiful. This painting is truly exquisite. Tara's life story starts by relating how she appeared in the world. One teaching explains how, many eons ago, a princess named Yeshe Dawa, or "Moon of Primordial Wisdom," developed the thought of bodhicitta by the grace of her vast devotion to the buddha of that era. She vowed to become enlightened for the benefit of all the boundless beings who suffered in samsara. The religious leaders of that time, believing that it was only possible to become enlightened in a male body, advised her to pray for a male reincarnation." Princess Yeshe Dawa, however, vowed to attain enlightenment and to carry out all her enlightened activities throughout the three times (past, present, and future) in female form. Eventually, this female bodhisattva became a completely enlightened buddha and became known as Tara. Tara is known primarily as “the one who liberates." Especially in the form of the Green Tara, she liberates sentient beings from the eight great fears. Mother Tara's enlightened activity has the potential to protect human beings who connect with her practice from all fears and the causes of these fears. Let us aspire to follow mother Tara’s example ourselves by working for all living beings with love, compassion, courage, and commitment. • Vajrayogini Mandala Thangka

Vajrayogini Mandala | Dakini Painting | Tibetan Thangka Print

Vajrayogini Mandala Thanka Painting, Traditional Tibetan Art In Vajrayana practice, Vajrayogini is the most renowned female meditational deity. In this Vajrayogini thangka painting, she holds up a vajra-handled curved flaying knife and drinks from a skull bowl. A garland of freshly severed heads hangs down almost to the ankle of her left leg. The right leg is bent and brought up to her inner thigh in a dancer's pose.  Vajrayogini is beautiful, the most heavenly of all women. But it is not her beauty that attracts. Rather, it is her promise, the potential of controlling the ego and its cravings, that draws the practitioner. Her relative beauty is but a metaphor for that which is absolutely beautiful- the Void State. (shunyata) For the Vajrayana practitioners, this thangka will be helpful to inspire in your practice. Small in size it can easily fit into your shrine. Or you can carry on if you are a frequent traveler and do not want to miss your daily practice. • Virupa Thangka

Virupa Thangka, High Quality Giclee Canvas Print, Digital Print

Mahasiddha Virupa, Tibetan Thangka Painting Original Size of Thangka ( 10 x 13 inches ) Virupa was the great adept who attained Buddhahood through the unexcelled yoga tantric practice of the Hevajra archetype buddha. He then created what became known as the "Path and Fruition" tradition that was foundational for the Sakya order. In it, the stages of the path of enlightenment teachings are integrated within the advanced creation and perfection stage yogas of the Hevajra Tantra. This creates a complete system of practice from any state of human evolution up through all the highest stages of Tantric evolutionary perfection. It is considered a nondual tantra by the Sakyapas and a mother tantra by the Gelukpas. Virupa is said to have achieved the highest insight after receiving revelatory visions of Vajra Nairatmya, the female form of Hevajra. Virupa's trademark gesture, the left-handed threat gesture with which he stops the sun's descent, comes from his fabled exploit. He came into a town where he wanted to teach the king and his people, so he went into a saloon to drink wine and made a deal with the bartender not to pay until sundown. Just before sunset he stopped the sun's descent and kept drinking and drinking until the whole country became alarmed at the drought and disruption of having no nightfall. At the frantic behest of the bar owner, the king came and paid the bill. After that, Virupa naturally had the attention of the entire populace, and so he began to teach them the Buddha Dharma and provide them the refuge of the Three Jewels. Homage to you Mahasiddha Virupa! ----------------------------------------------------------------DEITY PORTRAYED AS MENTIONED IN THE MEDITATION SADHANA-----------------------------------------------------------------OUR TEAMWe are a team of traditionally trained Karma Gadri artists from Boudha Stupa. • 21 Tara Thangka

21 Tara | Tibetan Thangka Print | Orgyen Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa Tradition

21 Tara Thangka Print, High-Quality Canvas Print Twenty-one Tara Thangka prints can be the perfect gift for a Buddhist practitioner like you. Following the tradition, we painted this Rare 21 Tara assembly thangka in our studio. 21 Tara Practice: As we can see twenty-one Taras, each with different names, colors, and attributes. One might ask why there are 21 Taras in specific? The number 21 has a profound meaning. At the basic level, the Buddha taught us 21 techniques with which we may work to attain enlightenment.  The basis for our enlightenment is right where we find ourselves now, with the precious endowment of our own human body and our own buddha-nature. Vajrayana is similar to the sutra system, but with its method more specifically targeted. According to this, our human body consists of 21 knots. These are in pairs and they obstruct and block our inner channels. Through the practice of 21 Tara, we release each of these knots and obtain a specific experience of realization. From basic Buddhism all the way to Dzogchen, it is clearly mentioned that Buddhahood is an innate state within us. Our inherently awakened state is an already enlightened being, the Buddha. When we release those twenty-one knots, we attain the ultimate awakening known as the dharmakaya state. The Dharmakaya, in turn, has 21 spontaneously inherent qualities. They transcend duality, the compounded state, permanence and impermanence, and effort or striving. Unceasingly they arise as necessary for the benefit of all sentient beings. These 21 active dharmakaya qualities appear as 21 emanations of Tara. Thus Tara combines all the active energies of the three kayas by which we release our own knots and those of other beings, the energy by which we achieve enlightenment.
