Introduction To The Thangka :
Chenrezig, also known as Avalokitesvara, is one of the most well-known Vajrayana Bodhisattvas. Chenrezig is Tibetan for "seeing with kind eyes." Avalokitesvara Thangka is utilized to practice visual meditation to cultivate a peaceful, loving, and compassionate heart.
Manjushri is one of the great eight Bodhisattvas, representing knowledge and mental enlightenment. She is said to have drained Nepal's Kathmandu Valley, making it suitable for human habitation and the spread of buddha-dharma.
Vajrapani is a major Bodhisattva who is easily identified by holding a vajra in his right hand and menacing vitarka mudra with his left hand. His physique appears to be huge and in a warrior position.
Buddha Amitayus, also known as Aparimita, is well-known for granting long life on believers. He is used to extend the life span of awful deities. The recitation of this dharani is thought to be effective when done with complete earnestness.
How to take care of your thangka?
-Hang your thangka in a traditional silk brocade
-Regular Inspection of your thangka; examine the borders and all attachments.
-Keep thangkas covered when they are on display but not in use.
-Rotate thangkas between display and storage on a regular basis, two to four times a year, to reduce the amount of exposure to light. Keep away from sunlight and humidity.
-Do not apply liquids or other materials to the surface of the thangka.
