Brocade Chengrezig Thanka
Introduction To The Thangka :
Our thangka is a handpainted Tibetan art done using traditional methods. It is a unique piece created using genuine 24K gold and natural stone colors.
Chenrezig - This version of Avalokiteshvara is popular among Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhists for devotional meditation. His six-syllable mantra, "Om mani pad me hum," has become a familiar chant for Buddhists all over the globe.
He has four hands, the first two of which are clasped together near his heart, which causes Anjalimudra to faint (Adamant form). He is holding a wish-fulfilling diamond, signifying that he has a kind mentality. He is decked with silk and diamonds, and he wears an antelope hide top robe to symbolize his loving and kind personality. He holds a blue lotus flower in his left hand and a crystal rosary in his right.
