Traditional Gold Silk Brocade for Thangka Painting

Quality brocade. Intricate design and mounted well. This silk weave has the heavier, sturdier, “rougher” feel to it than its smoother, shinier sibling.

I needed a brocade for a thangka painting I had purchased earlier. I emailed Enlightenment Thangka and within 24 hours I had received a very detailed reply from Tenzin. His manner was very professional and friendly. Tenzin showed extreme attention to detail when he noticed that I had made a mistake in my measurements. After purchasing the brocade it arrived swiftly in my country (I only had to pay a standard customs fee which was less than the price of a cup of coffee). Tenzin then followed up with an email to make sure that I was happy with the product.

The product itself was very well made and the measurements were accurate.

I have dealt with other thangka suppliers from Nepal, but would prefer to deal with Tenzin and Enlightenment thangka in the future due to their positive attitude, honesty, and professionalism.
