Chenrezig is the embodiment of all Buddha. He is the most popular Bodhisattva who hears the world cry. He signifies to free the sentient beings from the muddy waters of suffering.
In this thangka print, Chenrezig is gracefully seated in meditation posture in the center. His two hands are in a devotional gesture. The upper right hand holds the never-ending cycle, akashamala, and his upper left hand holds a white lotus. Manjushri and Vajrapani are placed in the right and left bottom of the thangka print respectively.
