Green Tara is a compassionate deity who helps to cross the shore. She is the protector of navigation and earthy travel, spiritual travel along the path of enlightenment. Tara is widely practiced within the Tibetan Himalayan community. Special dedication and prayer are performed in our daily lives for her protection and blessings.
Green Tara is seated crossed leg in the center of the thangka. Tara's right hand is in boon-granting mudra and her left hand is holding a fully bloomed lotus in the mudra of bestowing refuge.

CONSECRATION OF THANGKA
As requested for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to Monasteries/Rinpoches from nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $50 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration service.
