Green Tara Mantra Mandala Thangka Painting
The rich, natural hues of Lhasa stones and real 24K gold accents combine to create this stunning Green Tara Mantra Mandala Thangka, a hand-painted masterpiece in the ancient Karma Gadri style. The intricate mandala, which revolves around Green Tara, visually represents her protective mantra and describes her influence and presence in the lives of all who invoke her.
Green Tara, the embodiment of compassion and enlightened energy, is seated in the center and is shown with a serene and compassionate gaze. Her vivid green skin symbolises life, active kindness, and a bond with the surroundings. She is depicted with her right leg outstretched, indicating that she is prepared to enter the world and provide assistance. She is holding symbols such as the lotus, which stand for wisdom and purity, in her hands. The chant "Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha" is echoed by elaborate mandala designs and sacred inscriptions in beautiful jewel-toned gold that radiate outward around her. This mantra, which is artistically incorporated into the Thangka, calls for blessings, safety from anxieties, and relief from pain.
