Green Tara Thangka Painting, Digital Canvas Print

A beautiful Green Tara thangka print. In a lavish open background, we have tried to show Mother Tara in the grandeur form. The vast background with Mother Tara at the center makes the painting enormously beautiful. This painting is truly exquisite.

Here there is no man, there is no woman,

No self, no person, and no consciousness.

Labeling "male" or "female" has no essence,

But deceives the evil-minded world

Tara's life story starts by relating how she appeared in the world. One teaching explains how, many eons ago, a princess named Yeshe Dawa, or "Moon of Primordial Wisdom," developed the thought of bodhicitta by the grace of her vast devotion to the buddha of that era. She vowed to become enlightened for the benefit of all the boundless beings who suffered in samsara.

The religious leaders of that time, believing that it was only possible to become enlightened in a male body, advised her to pray for a male reincarnation." Princess Yeshe Dawa, however, vowed to attain enlightenment and to carry out all her enlightened activities throughout the three times (past, present, and future) in female form. Eventually, this female bodhisattva became a completely enlightened buddha and became known as Tara.

Tara is known primarily as “the one who liberates." Especially in the form of the Green Tara, she liberates sentient beings from the eight great fears. Mother Tara's enlightened activity has the potential to protect human beings who connect with her practice from all fears and the causes of these fears.

Let us aspire to follow mother Tara’s example ourselves by working for all living beings with love, compassion, courage, and commitment.
