Lhasa Stone Shades, Lapis Lazuli Buddha Bhaisajyaguru Painting
Embark on a journey of healing and purity with this exquisite Thangka of the Lapis Lazuli Buddha Bhaisajyaguru. Crafted with traditional Karma Gadri techniques, this piece on fine cotton canvas gracefully blends the brilliant luster of 24K gold with the natural colors of Lhasa stones. The calm portrayal of the Medicine Buddha, accentuated by his distinctive deep blue color, provides a visual concentration for meditation and a reminder of the restorative potential of kindness.
Known for his rich blue complexion resembling lapis lazuli, the Buddha Bhaisajyaguru is shown in it, signifying healing and purity. These unique shades, which are produced by the natural pigments found in Lhasa stone, adds to the image's visual depth and spiritual intensity. By highlighting his holy garments and the aura surrounding him, 24K gold highlights his heavenly essence. He is shown as a healer with a myrobalan plant in one hand and an arm bowl in the other, all of which are meticulously recreated to respect the conventional representations found in traditional meditation guides.
