Mandala is a Sanskrit word that means "circle." Kyilkhor, which meaning "center and surrounding environment," is the Tibetan name for mandala. In the most basic sense, it is a circle that is utilized as a visual aid for focus and introversive meditation. Meditating with a mandala leads to insights and improves attention. It also aids in the activation of powers inside oneself, culminating in "Siddhi" or supernatural forces. This technique is graphically represented by a mandala. It is not just theoretical, but also practical as an operational system with a defined plan for implementing the process within oneself. As a result, it becomes a Yantra (instrument). It is thought that simply glancing at a mandala spiritually cleanses one's soul.

-Hang your thangka in a traditional silk brocade

-Rotate thangkas between display and storage on a regular basis, two to four times a year, to reduce the amount of exposure to light. Keep away from sunlight and humidity.
-Do not apply liquids or other materials to the surface of the thangka.
