Hand-Painted Nakthang Art Depicting Buddha's Victory Over Mara Demon
Shakyamuni Buddha's famous victory over the Mara Demon, which represents enlightenment's victory over delusion and desire, is depicted in this magnificent Thangka. Using rich black acrylic colors in the traditional Nakthang (Gold on Black) manner, the artwork is meticulously crafted on cotton canvas and embellished with real 24K gold.
