Sidhartha Gautam Shakyamuni Buddha - Symbol of Peace & Enlightenment
About Our Statue :
This fragile Siddhartha Gautama Shakyamuni Buddha statue is delicately built from oxidized copper, giving it a timeless, antique finish that heightens its spiritual presence. With dimensions of 10 cm in height and 6.5 cm in breadth and a weight of about 0.21 kg, this modest yet beautiful piece is excellent for personal altars, meditation spaces, or travel. The deep patina of the corroded copper provides depth and character to each feature, conveying both artistic mastery and spiritual reverence.
The statue portrays the Buddha in the bhumisparsha mudra (earth-touching gesture), with his right hand extended downward, inviting the ground to witness his enlightenment. His calm facial expression, which includes gently closed eyes and a pleasant smile, expresses inner calm and compassion. The figure, seated in vajrasana (lotus posture) on a basic base, symbolizes unshakable steadiness and concentration in meditation. The draped robe, which flows freely over his body, represents simplicity and freedom from materialistic desires. This statue is a strong reminder of the Buddha's path to enlightenment, instilling attention, inner serenity, and spiritual focus in any setting.
Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :
Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king in accordance with the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29 years old, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside of Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).

How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a
glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can
smudge the face, leaving scratches.
