Tibetan 2 Layer Teapot
About Our Teapot :
The handcrafted teapot is traditionally made of copper and then silver-plated. It is a one-of-a-kind Tibetan teapot with a Makara on the neck; the Makara is the guardian of doorways and thresholds, guarding royal rooms as well as temple entryways.
Introduction To The Teapot :
Buddhism had an essential impact in the establishment of the Central Plains tea culture. Tibetan Buddhists place a high value on tea rituals during Buddhist practices. They frequently associate tea with God. They bring medication, holy water, and tea with them when they worship to deities in temples. Tea represents friendship, respect, purity, and auspiciousness to Tibetans. Tea is used in a variety of polite formalities and rituals in Tibet, including marriages, births, funerals, and religious rites.
