Guru Rinpoche Thangka, Tibetan Buddhist Thangka Painting
In this Thangka, Tibetan Guru Rinpoche is seated in the center with a crossed leg holding a vajra in his right hand and his left hand. In the curve of his left arm is his divine consort of bliss and emptiness in the form of Khatvanga trident. This Thangka is done following Buddhist text and iconography detail. Guru Padmasambhava is picturized seated on a lotus that seems like floating in the sky in the clouds.

He also established the first monastic system in Tibet with the help of Tibetan Dharma kings.
