Description
Tibetan Buddhist Offering Bowls Set
Our Tibetan Buddhist Offering Bowl is beautifully handcrafted, made of copper, and plated with gold and decorated with turquoise. It has fantastic detail making it an incredible addition to your ritual altar.
When the offerings have been arranged they are consecrated by dipping a stem of kusha grass into the water vessel and sprinkling the offerings, whilst reciting the syllables OM A HUM, three or seven times. At the end of the day, the offering is removed. The water from the bowl is gathered, and the flowers and food offerings are dispersed into the natural environment for the benefit of passing animals or hungry spirits. The seven bowls are wiped clean and soaked upside down ready for the next day.
