Guru Pema Gyalpo, also known as the Lotus King, is a significant deity in Tibetan Buddhism and is one of the Eight Manifestations of Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava. He is depicted as a young prince with a redish-pink complexion, seated on a lotus, and wearing yellow-orange robes. Guru Pema Gyalpo is often associated with wealth and is portrayed in a wrathful form, holding a small damaru in his right hand and a mirror and hook in his left hand. He is believed to manifest as a child four years after the Mahaparinirvana of Buddha Shakyamuni, as predicted by the Buddha. This deity is an important figure in Tibetan Buddhist iconography and is venerated for his spiritual powers and teachings.
