Vintage Buddha Mandala Thangka
About Our Thangka :
The thangka we have is a Mandala Thangka from the early 1990s. For more than 30 years, this Thangka has been a part of our collection. It spent many years being kept secret. We only lately decided to put our collection of vintage thangkas on display. We really hope that the exquisiteness of these vintage Thangka paintings brings you a tremendous sense of delight.
Introduction To Buddha Mandala :
During meditation, one imagines a castle similar to the one in the mandala. Each piece of furniture in the palace has importance, reflecting a facet of wisdom or serving as a reminder of a guiding principle to the meditationist. The goal of the mandala is to assist in healing and the enlightenment of ordinary minds.
Depending on the characteristics of the center deity, there are many different kinds and sorts of mandalas. The Mandala of the Dhyani Buddha is the most traditional design. Buddha Mandala is shown in this thangka. The Mandala symbolizes the "palace of purity," a magical sphere that has been freed of all spiritual impurities. The Map of a Mind is what this map depicts (teaching of Buddha)

Where do I hang my Thangka Art ?
The sides of the bed are the ideal location for the mandala painting. A nice idea is to hang at the foot of the bed. This configuration supports reviving our body's positive energy.
