Vintage Treasure Box, Beautifully Carved With 24K Gold
A vintage Treasure Box is a form of a box that is square structured and with a removable lid for storage. It is a beautifully hand-carved box made of copper and plated with pure 24K gold. Each side of the box is carved with meaningful symbols giving it a classic appearance.
The Treasure tradition has some precedents in Buddhism. One striking example is a prophecy by the Buddha in the Pratyutpannasamadhi Sutra that predicts the sutra would come to be hidden in the ground for future times when it could be propagated again.
