Description
Original Thangka of White Tara, Amitayus, and Namgyalma | The Trio of Longevity Deities | LHASA Hues
Exquisitely hand-painted, this thangka of White Tara, Amitayus, and Namgyalma epitomizes themes of longevity, healing, and compassion within the realm of traditional Buddhist art. The artwork is made on premium cotton, providing a durable and authentic substrate for spiritual imagery. Genuine 24K gold accents embellish the celestial decorations, creating a luminous depth that enhances the deities' spiritual essence. Employing natural Lhasa stone pigments introduces an earthy vitality to the composition while honoring Himalayan artistic traditions. Created in the Karma Gadri style—recognized for its expansive layout and intricate craftsmanship—this thangka exudes serenity and divine grace, rendering it suitable for meditation and devotional practices.
At the left side of the thangka rests White Tara, the divine embodiment of nurturing wisdom and vital energy. Her seven eyes—located on her face, palms, soles, and forehead—symbolize her omniscient awareness and compassionate vigilance over all sentient beings. She is depicted seated elegantly on a radiant lotus seat, wielding a blooming lotus in her left hand and performing the gesture of ultimate generosity with her right, extending healing and protection to practitioners.
Two renowned deities associated with longevity enhance the artwork's mystical depth. Above, on the right side of the thangka, is Amitayus, the Buddha of Infinite Life, depicted in vibrant red, holding a vase filled with amrita, the nectar of immortality. Namgyalma is positioned below, adorned with numerous arms and an intricate crown, symbolizing the eradication of karmic obstacles and the extension of lifespan. These three deities form a potent trinity that fosters energy, longevity, spiritual growth, and compassionate enlightenment. This thangka serves as a sacred meditation aid, a visual blessing promoting household harmony, and an exemplary gift suitable for any spiritual occasion.
