Tibetan Bhaisajyaguru Thangka | Symbol of Healing and Compassion
The Bhaisajyaguru Thangka is hand-painted on cotton canvas using natural stone colors and 24K gold. Measuring 9" x 13", it embodies the healing essence of Bhaisajyaguru, the Medicine Buddha, symbolizing the power of healing, protection, and wisdom. Painted in the traditional Karma Gadri Style, it reflects the Buddha's reverence for his teachings.
In this sacred depiction, Bhaisajyaguru, the Medicine Buddha, is shown seated on a lotus throne, a symbol of purity and spiritual growth. Above his lotus seat, a moon disc symbolizes his cooling, healing energy, which can soothe suffering and provide spiritual nourishment. His blue color represents his vast wisdom and transcendent power, allowing him to heal both physical and mental conditions. In his left hand, he holds a bowl of medicine, symbolizing his role as a healer of the body and soul. In his right hand, he holds a myrobalan, a medicinal plant, symbolizing his ability to heal and purify. It's perfect for altars, meditation rooms, or sacred spaces, bringing peace, healing, and Bhaisajyaguru's blessings into your environment.
