Traditional Buddhist Art Buddha Padmasambhava With Consort

Buddha Padmasambhava With Consort Thangka is exquisitely hand-drawn on cotton canvas using poster colors and genuine 24K gold. In this thangka, we have portrayed Guru Rinpoche with his consort. He is seated, clutching a vajra in his right hand, a skullcap in his left, and a khatvanga with skull heads around his left arm. His consort is seated on his lap, embracing him with her right hand and holding a skullcup in her left. The beautiful background, nimbus, and robe all have intricate design patterns. All of these are drawn with delicate strokes of a brush. This art will be a perfect gift for practitioners like you to practice the Padmasambhava mantra.

Note: Guru Rinpoche Consort Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio located at Boudha Stupa.

Guru Padmasambhava is not only a fully enlightened Buddha but has also manifested as one of the greatest sages of the Vajrayana Buddhist world. He was born miraculously and served infinite beings for millenniums through the power of his wisdom and compassion. He manifested Zangdok Palri Pureland and remained there in the body of light.

Twelve years after the Maha Parinirvana of the Buddha, the rays of blessing light of the Buddha of Infinite Light touched a lotus in the Milk Ocean in the Southwest direction from Bodhgaya. As a result, Guru Padmasambhava was born miraculously in that lotus by "lotus birth" without human parents.
