Historical Buddha Shakyamuni Mantra Practice Thangka

The Shakyamuni Buddha Thangka is an actual work of art crafted by our skilled artisans using the traditional style. Siddhartha Gautama, or Gautama Buddha, is depicted with serene composure, seated atop a lotus throne amidst a moon disc. The thangka is painted acrylic on cotton canvas and adorned with genuine 24k gold. The Buddha's face is illuminated by a transparent halo, while a transparent nimbus surrounds his presence. Against a captivating background of a blue sky, he is holding an alms bowl in his left hand and is performing the earth-touching mudra with his right. This thangka is sure to bring peace and tranquility to any displayed space.

Shakyamuni Buddha is the historical Buddha, the originator of Buddhist philosophy, and is commonly referred to as "the Buddha." In the Buddhist religion, each "Kalpa" (a Buddhist eon) is considered to have its own Buddha, whose teachings gradually fade until the next Buddha arrives. He is believed to have lived around 420 BC and spent most of his time preaching the teachings of Dharma. The Life of Buddha Thangka depicts his life in detail. He is regarded as a role model, mentor, and inspiration. The "dharma," or spiritual belief, and the "sanga," or Buddhist community, are said to secure his presence on Earth.
